Acceptable Use Policy

This policy helps keep JoJoHost hosting safe, stable, and useful for customers. It applies to websites, files, accounts, email, and other resources used with JoJoHost services.

Last updated: October 27, 2026

1. General requirements

You may use JoJoHost services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm other users, our infrastructure, or third parties. You are responsible for activity and content associated with your account.

2. Prohibited content and activity

You must not use the service to host, transmit, promote, or facilitate:

  • Illegal content or activity, fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, or deceptive schemes.
  • Malware, ransomware, malicious scripts, botnets, or tools intended for unauthorized access.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
  • Threats, targeted harassment, or content whose hosting is unlawful.
  • Child sexual abuse material or any exploitative content involving minors.
  • Unauthorized access attempts, port scanning, denial-of-service activity, or interference with networks or services.
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk email, deceptive email practices, or lists collected without an appropriate lawful basis.

3. Hosting resource use

Hosting resources are intended to serve active websites and applications within the purchased plan’s limits. Unless a plan expressly permits it, do not use hosting as an off-site backup repository, general file-sharing platform, mirror, or distribution system for large unrelated files. Resource-intensive activities that impair shared service performance may be restricted.

4. Email and reputation

You must maintain lawful, permission-based email practices, secure your mailboxes and scripts, and respond promptly to abuse reports. You must not use hosting or email services to send spam, spoof sender identities, or bypass provider limits.

5. Security and account responsibility

Keep applications, themes, plugins, passwords, and scripts reasonably secure and updated. Do not attempt to bypass security controls or access accounts, systems, or data without authorization. If you discover a vulnerability or suspect account compromise, contact support promptly.

6. Reports and enforcement

We may investigate credible reports and take proportionate action, including requesting remediation, limiting access, suspending a service, or terminating an account where necessary to protect users, comply with law, or address serious or repeated violations. We may act without advance notice where urgent action is needed for security or legal reasons.

7. Reporting abuse

Send abuse reports to support@jojohost.com with the relevant domain or URL, a description of the concern, and supporting information. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information.

8. Updates

We may update this policy as services and risks evolve. Continued use of the services after an updated policy takes effect is subject to applicable law and the updated terms.
